Our table quickly filled with some of the restaurant’s most popular dishes. We ordered Kerala meals, Fish Curry, Pork Fry, Beef Fry, Squid Roast, Crab Roast, Kappa, and freshly made Appams.
Among everything we tasted, the Crab Roast was undoubtedly the star of the meal. Fresh crab cooked in a rich Kerala-style masala, perfectly balanced with spices and roasted coconut flavours, made it one of the finest crab dishes we’ve enjoyed in recent times.
The Squid Roast was equally satisfying, cooked until tender while absorbing every bit of the delicious masala. Between the two meat dishes, I personally enjoyed the Pork Fry more than the Beef Fry. The pork was beautifully cooked, flavourful, and paired wonderfully with both the meals and kappa.
One unexpected highlight of our lunch came from fellow diners seated nearby. They generously shared a homemade Andhra Mango Pickle, and surprisingly, it transformed the entire meal. The spicy, tangy pickle paired beautifully with the Kerala meals and seafood, reminding us how food often creates connections between complete strangers.
