Loafers Corner Fort Kochi – For A Laidback Eat-out

Most tourists heading to Kerala will have Fort Kochi on their list of places to visit. British, Dutch and Portuguese architecture of the buildings together with the queer cafes and idyllic seashores makes this a charming destination. There is a cafe in Fort Kochi whose objective is to provide an ideal place for people to meet and eat, in a laid back manner. This is Loafers Corner, Fort Kochi.

Loafers Corner does not have a very elaborate menu. But the owners claim that they prepare every item with utmost care. Burgers, wraps, pasta and sandwiches are the main items that they serve. They serve drinks such as coffee, lemonades or shakes in their own unique way. Beef Vindaloo wrap is one of their special items. Originally, foreign tourists used to be frequent visitors at this cafe. Of late, local visitors have outnumbered the foreign visitors. So the owners are now creating fusion dishes which will suit the palates of all types of customers.

Loafers Corner was opened in 2016. It functions from a building that is almost 150 years old. Owners have kept the original building intact without much modifications. Dutch and Portuguese architecture of the building is a feast for the eyes. They have an open garden area too, which underwent some renovations in the past. On the whole, the ambiance of the restaurant makes it a good place to chill out. Most people who reviewed the restaurant on Google have high praise for the cozy and trendy ambiance. Being located beside a narrow road, this restaurant does not have parking facilities. They are open from 9:30 AM to 10 PM. You can dine-in, or order through food delivery apps.
