On the other hand, in Madhoot we get the rice and meat cooked together. Madhoot is comparatively more flavorsome than Mandi. The Mandi that we get in Soofi Mandi Kozhikode is not the spicy version. They serve plain and less spicy Mandi along with mayonnaise, Salatha (tomato chutney), and salad. Food here is tasty. As a perfect end to the delicious food, they serve honey lemon tea after meals.
Soofi Mandi has three outlets in Kerala which are at Kozhikode, Ernakulam and Thrissur. The outlet in Kozhikode is the most recent one. They have branches outside Kerala as well. Their Kozhikode outlet has a wonderful ambiance. It is located close to the Kozhikode beach, but it does not have a beachfront view. The building that houses the restaurant is a traditional Kerala home which they converted into a chic restaurant. Interiors of the restaurant are spic and span, and so, this is an ideal place for a family eat-out. There are washroom facilities, as well as parking facilities for four wheelers. If you go during peak lunch hours, you may find the place crowded.
