Most of us would love to try out steaming hot Dosa or chicken fries from Thattukadas. These are shops that open only in the evenings and continue serving customers till late night. Elza Fast Food is one such shop in Kadavanthra that is meant for evening strollers and late night foodies. They serve both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.

Elza Thattukada serves a variety of food items. You will get traditional Kerala dishes such as Dosa or Puttu, and even Arabic dishes such as Al Faham or Shawarma. Chili chicken, Chicken 65, Biryani, fried rice, beef dry fry and a lot more items are available here. The shop opens at 5 PM, and goes on till 1 AM. A board displayed at the shop will surely catch our eyes. It says that cancer patients will get free food from there. This humanitarian initiative by a small food seller deserves accolades.

This is just a roadside street food shop with limited seating facilities. Although there are a few tables and chairs, this shop is not a good suggestion for family eat-outs. You can place an order for packed food. Elza Fast Food does not have a great ambiance from outside. But the cooking area is kept clean. You will find some space to park your two wheeler in front of the shop.
