Achayante Adukkala serves many specialties such as Kizhi Porotta, Nidhi Porotta, Kothu Porottta and Kizhi biryani. They do not serve breakfast items. For lunch, you will get many varieties of biryani as well as Porotta. Among all the varieties of Porotta, Nidhi Porotta is the most interesting. It has 3 Porottas layered up with boiled eggs, beef, or chicken in between. This heap is wrapped in banana leaf, and steamed. The final outcome is no less than a Nidhi (treasure). Another special delicacy is Pothum Thenum, which has beef prepared with honey and pepper. Most customers love this sweet-and spicy dish.
