Gokul Oottupura Kadavanthra- The Vegetarian Oottupura

This restaurant was started in the 1960s by the grandfather of the present owner. Today, three generations down the line, they have four branches in Kochi and a strong loyal customer base. Gokul Oottupura in Kadavanthra is one of their first branches.

South Indian cuisine is the specialty at Gokul Oottupura. All kinds of South Indian breakfast items, especially Dosas, are very much in demand. Ghee Dosa, Masala Dosa, Rava Dosa, Podi Dosa, you name it, and they have it. There are other breakfast items like Idli and Idiyappam as well. Moreover, you will get Kerala style Thali meals for lunch. In the evenings, north Indian dishes such as Chana Bhatura and Chaat are more in demand. Then there are a few fusion food items such as the Peri Peri Idli.

Gokul Oottupura at Kadavanthra can accommodate up to 60 guests at a time. The interior of the restaurant looks cool and cozy. The latest branch of the restaurant, which is at NH Bypass, has a seating capacity of 120 people. The restaurant is open from 7:30 AM to 10 PM on all days. They provide online delivery also. There are limited parking facilities near the restaurant. Washrooms are also available here.
