Bhavya Tea Stall in Vayalar serving yummy beef curry and Kerala parotta!

Bhavya Tea Stall in Vayalar is a modest village-style kiosk in the district of Alappuzha in Kerala. Ravi chettan and his wife Sarala chechi own and operate this eatery. While Ravi chettan adores cooking, Sarala chechi assists him in customer service.

This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend of Food N Travel YouTube channel. Bhavya tea stall, as per his recommendation, serves delicious beef curry and parotta. He also recommended that we try the restaurant’s egg curry. Well, I tried parotta and beef curry. And, he is right! Beef curry is yummy and has the feel of traditional village-style restaurant recipe. Parotta was good too.

The restaurant also serves appam, puttu, egg curry (mutta curry), chickpea curry (kadala curry), and potato curry (kizhangu curry) in addition to parotta and beef curry. Sarala chechi claims that their kadala curry is also well-liked by their customers.

Bhavya tea shop is a modest restaurant with a minimalistic atmosphere. I’d be happier if the couple could make more efforts to keep the place a bit more clean and cozy. That is just my opinion, however this tea stall is popular among the locals.
